Yesterday, I went to the museeum with Beverly at the Marina Bay Sands to the Titanic exhibition.

So we were queuing up to get our tickets. When it finally came to our turn, I tilted my head down to take my money out of my purse in an attempt to save some valuable time. While doing that, I noticed the cashier had been staring at me for some time.

I finally looked up and there I saw my polytechnic school mate! My instant reaction was ”O M G! How long have you been working here?!?” haha it was quite funny… We continued conversing and during the conversation, I whispered to him ”got discount?” and amazingly, he gave us a 25% discount! Haha… At that time, I was thinking, isn’t the price of the ticket 24 each? Then I had realized he had given us a discount. Beverly and I were too happy to have recieved it.

Earlier this week on Monday, I decided to delete all the people who were of no concern to me in this day and age… So as I was scanning through the different names, i was recalling how I met them and where. And I came across one of my friends whose parents are from Hong Kong.

The next day, I decided to go to school for Muay Thai Class, because I felt that I needed to unleash some “potential power” in my body.

So after the class ended, Some of us in the class decided to practice our punches and kicks with the kick pads. And I started coaching one of the newbies, as in correcting all her moves.

After we were done with all that practicing, I asked the girl whom I was coaching what her name was. And she said Kingyan… HAHA, instanty in my mind I asked, are you from Hong Kong?!?, because as you know I was going through my friends on Facebook, and I had deleted her! HAHA! At first she was puzzled about how I knew about her background, then I started telling her about out past experience together!

I didn’t recognize her earlier because it has been 4 years since we last met while volunteering for the Singapore Arts Fest’09. But it was awesome knowing that I met this same girl 4 years ago! In other words, I got reaquainted with a long lost acquaintance! AWESOME SAUCE!!!

It's Election Day!

About 3 weeks ago, the government dissolved the party and the various political parties in Singapore started contesting for the GRC’s that they wanted control over.

So in the past week, these parties have been distributing flyers to passers-by in the GRC that they are in and giving their perspective for the next 5 years.

So far, People’s Action Party (PAP) has been dominating the seats in parliament. But this time, it is rather unknown who will have control over singapore. This year will be one of the elections with the most number of parties contesting since singapore got its independence. :)

Osama Bin Laden is dead!

Yesterday, after my driving lesson, I read on twitter that Osama Bin laden had been shot dead in his home in Afghanistan. Many celebrities in the U.S. have been rejoicing upon recieving this piece of news.

But despite their success in killing Osama Bin Laden, the terrorists will not seize to stop their attacks. As you have seen, in the past 9 years, there have been several other attacks and there will probably be another leader amongst the terrorists to rise and give us all another *SUPRISE* attack.

The problem does not lie in whether Osama Bin Laden has died or not. I feel the reason why the number of terrortist has risen is not only because of the terrorists influencing others. This is because the families that live in the Middle East live around the same area and when the US bombing in the Middle East took place, some of these families lost their loved ones. These are innocent people, people who did not have anything to do with the terrosrist attacks.

As a result of this, more people in the Middle East have joined the terrorist groups to get back at the forces who killed their family members. These people have probably thought to themselves that nothing else really matters in the world since their family members are already dead, so *why not join the terrorist in their revenge against the Westerners?*

Then again the Westerners probably did that to warn the people of the Middle East that they have power. But this power is slowly being taken away by Asians. But more importantly, I think the reason why these countres have involved their armies in this taking over the government is because they are after the oil that these Middle Eastern countries are rich in.

Hence, I do believe that this is all happening due to power, greed and disagreement on the believes that people have.

So for the past year or so, I have been following Ray William Johnson on twitter, facebook and youtube.

Pssst! If you haven’t seen his videos, you should. Cos his vids are hilarious although not always… But his videos always feature the most interesting videos on youtube that have been uploaded a year ago or have just been uuploaded.

Also, you should go check out his music. I guess its a new industry that he’s been penetrating for the past 3 - 6 months? His music can be quite unique though… not always in a good sense

But after listening to it once… You will remember the tune? Which makes him quite a good new comer into the music industry, considering that it has been on some national radios around the world.

So anyway, if you’ve the time, go check out @raywj on his ”=3” channel and maybe check out his videos!

The kiss on the balcony at Buckingham Palace

Yesterday, before I went to bed… I started reading some thrends on Twitter. There were tweets which enjoyed seeing the Royal couple kiss on the balcony while others were just not happy about it.

Many of the tweets that were not too excited about the kiss commented: “What’s so great about the kiss?”, “we can see these on romantic movies”. But honestly, if you asked me, I think it is a great event even though it was short lived. This is because it is on very rare occasions that we get to see the royal couples kiss on National television across the globe.

Oh yeah, while i was reading twitter, I also came across #SarahBurton Thread… and it featured Princess Catherine’s wedding dresses (Day and Night). They were all very elegant, yet simple. I would only imagine her dresses being copied by other designers by the end 7pm Singapore Time. Cheers!
